Qualifications
To qualify for civil service testing to become a police officer, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be at least 20 1/2 years old
  • Pass a physical ability performance test
  • Have an AA degree, or at least 90 quarter credits, or 60 semester hours
