  • Insurance is recommended for everyone.
  • Replacement value insurance is also important to obtain, since it will reimburse you for the current cost of the item rather than a depreciated value.
  • A television set that you purchased for $500.00 three years ago may only be worth $100.00 now; however, with the replacement value clause, your insurance company will give you the money to buy a new set.
