About Lynnwood  

Photo:  Lynnwood Police Station and Municipal Court Lynnwood is the largest retail center and is the second largest population center in Snohomish County. It has a residential population of 35,995 covering an area of approximately 7.7 square miles and a daily mobile population between 60,000 and 80,000.

The City boasts more than 245 acres of parks and open spaces and is also home to a paved 12 mile interurban trail for bike riders, walkers, joggers, and others.

The Police Department is authorized 67 full-time sworn officers and is supported by both custody and clerical staff. The Reserve Unit is authorized 15 reserve officers. The total size of the department is 119 employees.

The City of Lynnwood is centrally located within minutes of the three largest cities in the area, Seattle, Everett, and Bellevue.
