Olympic View Drive Project Information
This is the final weekly construction update summary for Olympic View Drive Phase 2. Although the weekly updates are being concluded, we want to emphasize that the project is still undergoing completion of punch list and minor incidental work items through the month of February. There will be occasional single lane closures Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, as Plats Plus, Inc. finishes this work.
Plats Plus, Inc. will be working on the following items this week:
- Site clean up and punch list items
- Installing/relocating permanent signs
- Installing remaining chain link fence along OVD corridor
THANK YOU to everyone for your patience while enduring the inconveniences associated with both phases of this major road reconstruction project that was made possible through a partnership with the Transportation Improvement Board, Federal Highway Administration, Snohomish County, the City of Lynnwood, and the City of Edmonds.
Between spring 2008 and winter 2010, 1.6 miles of roadway was improved using:
- 11,400 tons of asphalt
- 1,900 yards of concrete
- 15,600 square feet of retaining wall
- 9,800 raised pavement markers
- 21,500 feet of drain pipe
- 200 storm drain markers
