Weekend work approval
Applicant must provide a letter to the Mayor requesting weekend work by the Wednesday prior to the first Friday requested. Weekend work hours Saturday 9 am to 5 pm only.
$150.00 for the entire time that the specific project is in effect.
Applicant must bring to City Hall, a double check valve assembly with current test certification and apply for the permit through the Utility Billing Department.
Metered water through hydrants (City of Lynnwood does not supply meters) $5.15 per 100cf or $5.90 per 1,000 gallons tank measure.
Non-Metered water consumption through hydrant $380.00 minimum charge
$410.00 minimum per permit and a $400.00 deposit for a year and to expire on December 31.
The fee for water meters installed by city forces is as follows:
- 3/4" meter - $3,260.00
- 1" meter - $4,040.00
- 1-1/2” meter (short, less than 25 feet) - $5,075.00
- 1-1/2” meter (long) - $6,885.00
- 2" meter (short, less than 25 feet) - $5,480.00
- 2" meter (long) - $7,275.00
Fees for meters when services are installed by developers are 85% of the fees shown above. For meters larger than 2" (always installed by the developer) the fee is the cost of the meter and appurtenances plus $1,836.00.

$205.00 minimum per test There shall be a minimum fee of $205.00 for each purity test administered: provided, that one test of purity on any main extension will be made without charge so long as the test can be made in coordination with a routine group of purity tests.

Underground Work: $610.00 for the first 100 lineal feet of disturbance plus $195.00 for each additional 100 lineal feet of disturbance up to 500 lineal feet and then $43.00 for each additional 100 lineal feet thereafter.
Above ground work. new installations: $610.00 for the first 100 lineal feet of disturbance plus $43.00 for each additional 100 lineal feet of disturbance.
Above ground work. repair or replacement (including work from manhole to manhole in existing conduit): $205.00 for the first 100 lineal feet of disturbance plus $43.00 for each additional 100 lineal feet of disturbance.
For utility relocation work resulting from city requested projects, the above fees are waived. Waiver of fees does not apply if utility proposes any upgrades or new facilities with relocation.
