A Year-Long Celebration!

Our Mission was for all people who live, work, and visit Lynnwood to celebrate the City’s 50th birthday with a year-long celebration commencing April 23, 2009 and culminating April 23, 2010. 

The year-long celebration consisted of events and activities that:

• Created civic pride;
• Were possible through community partnerships (residents, businesses, volunteers, schools, churches, civic groups);
• Honored our history; and/or create a legacy for our future.

Oral History Project
Projects included creating a commemorative book and accompanying video. The Lynnwood at 50 book is on sale now at the North Administration Building.

Historical Walk
Celebrate Lynnwood’s 50th Birthday by taking a Historic Walk around the City.

Humble House
Humble House at Heritage Park is now open on Sundays from Noon-4pm in honor of the 50th Birthday
