How to Apply: Public Safety Jobs

Information on the current hiring status of the Lynnwood Police Department and Lynnwood Fire Department can be found by visiting PublicSafetyTesting.com under Agency Listings.

Entry Police Officer (view job description)  and Entry Firefighter/Paramedic - The process to apply for entry level positions at the Lynnwood Police Department and Lynnwood Fire Department starts through PublicSafetyTesting.com. Please visit PublicSafetyTesting.com to begin the testing process for a Entry Police Officer or Entry Firefighter/Paramedic and indicate that you would be interested in the City of Lynnwood. After successfully passing the written and physical testing through PublicSafetyTesting.com, scores are forwarded to the City of Lynnwood. You will be contacted when entry level testing starts.

How to Apply: All Other Jobs

An employment application must be submitted in order for you to be considered for a position. As of 4/1/09, the City will be going to online applications only.
