Job Interest Cards

Back to Employment

If you are interested in a job that is not currently listed on the Current Job Opportunities page, you may fill out a job interest card and you will be notified by email when a position your interested in becomes available.

  1. Visit the Job Interest Card page.
  2. Search for the job catagories for which you would like to receive email notifications.
  3. Fill out the required information in the 'Job Interest Card' section.
  4. Click the 'Submit Request' button.
  5. Check your email for the "Job Interest Card Confirmation" from info@governmentjobs.com. You may need to add this email address to your "Safe" list to avoid having job notifications end up in a SPAM folder.

You may fill out more than one job interest card if you are interested in different positions.

After filling out a job interest card, for the next 12 months you will be notified when any position becomes available for the City of Lynnwood that matches your the job interest cards you submitted. You will recieve a reminder email in 11 months to give you an opportunity at that time to extend your notificaitons for another year.

PLEASE NOTE: the job interest card is not an application for employment. The City of Lynnwood maintains the Job Interest Card System in an effort to find individuals who have an interest in working for the city and as a courtesy to prospective applicants. While the City of Lynnwood makes every effort to ensure proper and timely notification of job openings, completing a job interest card does not guarantee notification.  It is possible for system failures, typos in your submitted information, or SPAM filters may prevent delivery of a timely job interest notification email.  Prospecitve applicants with an interest in working for the city should also check the Current Job Opportunities page or Job Hot Line (425-670-5627), to ensure they learn of new openings.
